It is very important to be well prepared for your adventure, we therefore give you a recommendation of things to bring..if you have any further questions please feel free to contact us!
Thermal underwear- both long-johns as well as longsleeved shirt (wool is better than synthetic...but also more costly!)
Fleece (to put over the thermals)
Wool sweaters
wool socks- minimum 3 pairs (please note that cotton socks are the worst socks to wear in minus temperatures. The higher the wool content the warmer!)
Salopettes/ ski-pants
Mittens and Gloves (mittens are essential when mushing, yet you also need gloves to work with!)
Hats and Scarves (a warm hat and beanie are great to keep warm. A 'buff' is even better to keep the neck warm.)
Warm waterproof shoes (thinsulate and goretex)
Warm and windproof Jacket
Goggles (bear in mind in cold weather the goggles will fog up!)
Towel
Inner liner for sleeping bag (Duvet cover also suffices)
Duffel bag to carry everything in!!
Most importantly...PACK LIGHT!!If you dont have all the outer gear, it is also possible to borrow shoes and a warm overall, just let us know your sizes and we can arrange it for you...
