Each musher is responsible for their own team of dogs! We start off with a day of introduction to get you into the swing of things and find a balance on the sleds and get used to the dogs. From here, depending on your preferences we spend the next couple of days mushing in Europe's last wilderness. Tours from 1 day to 1 week are all possible!! It is important to have a good level of fitness, balance and enthusiasm to handle the dogs and the sled! Exploration Tours are for guests that want to have a go at the experience of a life time without the difficulty and strenousness of an expedition tour. You mush with 3-4 dogs covering a distance of approx 20-30 kms a day.You can experience these tours as an overnight tour, and a weekend tour (2 nights, 3 days). Week tours on request with minimum 4 pers. Expedition Tours are tours which get off the beaten track. You will mush with 6-8 dogs depending on which tour and the conditions at the time of the tour. Most likely you will be staying in wildnerness cabins, weather permitting you could be staying in tents or under the open sky. You cover more distance of approximately 30-60 kms a day. You can experience these tours as a week tour (6 nights, 7 days). On both tours all equipment, food and accomodation is provided.
