Overnight Tour

We pick you up in Kiruna around noon and have a short 30 min drive towards our kennel. Upon arrival we give you warm clothes and introduce you to your own team of 3-4 dogs. After a brief safety instruction we do a final equipment check before we head off into the wilderness. On arrival at the wilderness camp we take care of the dogs before we take care of ourselves. After our wilderness meal we have the option for a sauna!

On our second day after breakfast we pack our sleds again and take our eager dog teams for a mush around the area before heading back towards our kennel. From here we take you back to kiruna. (approx 12 a clock).

***For a little extra (1450 sek per person), you have a special option to mush to the Icehotel on your last day. Including lunch enroute, a visit to the ice hotel and a drink in the infamous icebar!

Weekend/ 2 nights and 3 days Tour

Our 2 nights and 3 days tour starts at noon. We pick you up in Kiruna, and from here we drive towards our kennel in Svappavaara, a short 30 min ride. We show you around the kennel, get you ready for your adventure by helping you with an equipment check and going through the safety information of how to drive your sled!. From here the adventure begins! Each with their own team of 3-4 dogs we mush towards our lake cabin. Once we arrive here we take care of our dogs before we take care of ourselves! We enjoy a wilderness meal and have the option for a sauna! Our second day we will mush around the area and have lunch enroute . Day 3, after breakfast we pack our sleds and head back towards the kennel before driving you back to kiruna. (approx 12 a clock)

Weekend / 2 nights and 3 days Mushing Galore Tour
Our mushing galore tour is for the real mushing enthusiasts! We cover approximately 120 kms during our trip!And you get more of a 'real' dogsledding experience...we might even add an extra dog or two to your team! The first day is the same as the standard weekend trip, however on day 2 and 3 we cover many more kms! On day 2 after breakfast and taking care of the dogs we head out for a full day mushing to our next wilderness lodge with lunch en-route. On day 3 we pack up our things again and head out for more dog mushing!! We try to adhere to the best route available, however the route does vary due to weather conditions, your ability and the dogs! We always cover the distance promised!Contact us for more detailed information!

Week Tours
Our week tour starts at noon. We start from Kiruna and drive to our kennel. Upon arrival you have some time to look around the kennel and meet your team of dogs. We teach you how to harness your dogs before we pack our sleds and set off into the wilderness! After arrival at our wilderness cabin we take care of our dogs first before we take care of ourselves. The following morning we feed our dogs before we feed ourselves! We pack our sleds for a day tour around the area and return to our same wilderness cabin in the afternoon. Lunch will be served en-route.
Our third day after breakfast we pack all our belongings into the sled and head towards our next wilderness cabin. Lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrival at the wilderness cabin we take care of the dogs first before we settle in and enjoy a warm meal! After feeding the dogs and breakfast we pack up our things and off we go into the wild!! Today we mush across a beautiful lake towards our next wilderness cabin where we will stay for 2 nights. Lunch will be enroute and dinner will be served at the wilderness lodge! The following day we will have a day tour around the area and head back to the same wilderness lodge for the evening. You will also have the possibility of a sauna!!
On our 6th day we put your knowledge to the test and mush with our dogs back to our first nights' wilderness cabin for our last night out in the wilderness!On day 7 after breakfast we pack up our things and head towards Husky Tours' dog sledding kennel. Upon arrival at the kennel you can unharness the dogs and return the dogs to their homes. After unpacking we head towards town where we say goodbye. For those not leaving too early there is the optional activity of a Snowmobile safari and a visit to the Ice hotel.

On the exploration tours all equipment (including warm clothes), food and accommodation is included.
